Job summary

fal is seeking a Community Growth Manager to scale a global developer and creator network. You will build fal’s developer relations and community programs across online and in-person channels, engaging power users, hackers, and technologists to test new tools and showcase outcomes.

You will lead events, workshops, webinars, and competitions, create hands-on resources like demos and tutorials, and collaborate with Engineering, model partners, and customers on impactful programs.

Qualifications

• Experience building a developer, creator, or technical community program from the ground up.
• Deep familiarity with generative media across image, video, audio, and multimodal models.
• Technical use of APIs, models, developer tools, and engineers.
• Strong creative instincts and understanding of what excites creators and technologists.
• Experience running hackathons, meetups, workshops, webinars, competitions, or similar programs.
• Ability to create demos, tutorials, prompt guides, and example projects.
• Resourceful, scrappy, and proactive with initiative.
• Strong relationship building and representing fal online and in person.

Responsibilities

• Build and own fal’s developer relations and community program across online and in-person channels.
• Develop a network of power users, hackers, creators, and technologists for testing and feedback.
• Own Discord and Reddit and recurring events such as workshops and hackathons.
• Create demos, example projects, prompt guides, tutorials, and walkthroughs for developers.
• Support model and product launches through community activations and technical content.
• Partner with Engineering, model partners, and customers on programs and feedback.
• Find and amplify interesting builders across the fal ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Marketing on launches, content, and in-person programming.
