Qualifikationen

• High school education or equivalent preferred; 1–3 years in tourism or public assembly facility sales/management preferred.
• Must be a team player with strong people skills; able to manage others and communicate clearly.
• Ability to make good decisions under pressure and learn center facilities, policies and local community.

Aufgaben

• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing venue operations and ensuring client satisfaction and safety.
• Works with planners to finalize event schedules, services, spaces, equipment and rates; ensures invoicing accuracy.
• Creates room drawings, obtains approvals, and distributes plans to staff and departments.
• Coordinates bookings to ensure all services are delivered as scheduled and communicates progress to clients and staff.
• Directs staff during events and resolves problems that affect event success.
• Maintains records of services used, and generates post-event reports and billings.
• Plans pre/post conventions, shares solutions across departments, and implements decisions during events.
• Determines need for greeters/security and schedules accordingly; oversees event staff.
• Assists training of staff in event coordination and provides performance feedback.
• Collaborates with Sales to showcase the facility to clients and coordinates decorating vendors and in-house catering.
• Inspects layouts for safety, life-safety compliance, and general safety of the public and building.
