Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI seeks an energetic, full‑time Event Manager to lead high‑impact events and craft top-tier hospitality experiences. You will drive catering operations from concept through execution, partnering with clients, guests, and staff to exceed expectations.

Ideal candidates bring at least three years of catering management in large venues, strong budgeting and inventory control skills, and a passion for exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Three years of catering management experience in an arena, stadium or large venue.
• Experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling, and purchasing.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with client, guests, and catering staff to produce exceptional events.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events from start to finish.
• Develop presentations for sales and catering processes.
• Negotiate prices, contracts, deposits, and client approvals.
• Coordinate with operations managers for banquet, kitchen, and service staffing.
• Document and review records for each event and analyze improvements for bookings and budgets.
• Drive repeat and new business for catering functions and exceed department expectations.
• Design and deliver catering menus in collaboration with clients and chefs.

What will you do?

• Partner closely with client, guests, and catering staff to produce exceptional events that exceed guest expectations, drive referrals, and build positive brand awareness
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all catering events from start to finish and ensure the highest quality of product and service throughout
• Develop effective presentations both verbally and written where ideas and recommendations display strong understanding and expertise in the sales process
• Manage the customer decision and relationship process, negotiate prices and arrangements with clients, draw up contracts, and secure client's signature and deposit
• Coordinate with operations managers to organize necessary banquet, kitchen, and service staff and arrangements for each event
• Document and review all records for each catering event and analyze what can be done to improve booking sales; maintain an excellent track record of maintaining budgetary allotments and exceeding guests' expectations
• Facilitate repeat and new business for catering functions and exceed the sales expectations of the Catering and Special Events Department
• Design and deliver appropriate catering menus by collaborating with clients and chefs

More About You

• Minimum three years of catering management experience in an arena, stadium or other large venue is required
• Experience in food preparation, inventory and cost control, scheduling, and purchasing
• Excellent customer service orientation, communication, data analysis, and organizational skills
• Ability to work event hours including some holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related preferred
