Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin is seeking full-time and part-time Kitchen Supervisors. You will help supervise dishwashers and porters, ensure quality and safety in food prep, and maintain strict sanitation and organization in the kitchen.

Qualifications

• High school education is desired; participation/enrollment in culinary program preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months to 1-year previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred.
• Familiarity and experience with knife handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the supervision and observation of performance for the dishwashers and porters under the direction of the Sous Chef.
• Ensure food items and kitchen utensils are prepared according to Delaware North standards of quality, consistency and timelines.
• Maintain and enforce sanitation procedures and organization of work area.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Utilize and sanitize kitchen equipment for the preparation of food items such as: knives, slicers, whisks, pots, pans, warmers, steamers, grills, ovens, etc.
• Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly.
• Perform opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
• Ensure workstation and equipment is clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Follow and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Meet all health department standards for safe food handling and operate equipment safely determined by position and OSHA regulations.

What will you do?

More about you

• High school education is desired; participation/enrollment in culinary program preferred
• Minimum of 6 months to 1-year previous experience in back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred
• Familiarity and experience with knife handling preferred
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, blend, whip etc. a variety of foods and liquids
• Ability to lift and carry large pans from ovens or freezers, weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to handle or operate dangerous kitchen equipment
• Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
• Standing and walking for entire length of shift, frequently required to reach up to 6-7 feet, twist at waist, bending and squatting
• Pushing and pulling occasionally, to move equipment, mops and brooms
• Exhibit working knowledge of scheduling
• Kitchen environment – noise levels may be moderate to high
