Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized, creative, and client-focused Event Manager to join our team. The Event Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event.
2. Manage all aspects of the catered events and the catering team.
3. Work closely with the culinary, floral design, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution.
4. Event setup, execution, and breakdown, ensuring quality standards and client satisfaction.
5. Maintain knowledge of current trends in catering, design, and event production in Charleston and beyond.

Qualifications:

1. 2+ years of experience in event or catering management (hospitality background a plus).
2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a keen eye for detail.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
5. Calm under pressure and solutions-oriented.
6. Passion for food, design, and hospitality.
7. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
