Greenleaf Hospitality Group is offering an Event Management Intern role at Wings Event Center in Kalamazoo. You will participate in the full lifecycle of events from client inquiry through post‑event follow‑up, working with the Special Events team and internal departments to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
• Interest in pursuing a career in event or venue management.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and basic digital tools.
• Experience with Canva or social media platforms preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn and participate in the full event management process from inquiry to post‑event follow‑up.
• Coordinate events with the Special Events team and internal departments.
• Serve as on‑site event contact and support operations before, during, and after events.
• Create and maintain event documentation: production sheets, event orders, layouts, and schedules.
• Assist with client inquiries, sales leads, and venue fit assessments.
• Learn Momentus and other event management systems and ticketing basics.
