DUO Events is a full-service event agency specializing in curated experiences for luxury multifamily communities, developer groups, corporate partners, and select private groups. From grand openings to monthly programming, private events, brand activations, and milestone mixers, we manage every detail, from creative direction and strategy to staffing, vendor sourcing and coordination, and on-site execution.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Event Lead role is an internal leadership position for current DUO team members ready to take on greater responsibility.

Event Leads oversee on-site execution and serve as the primary point of contact during events. This role requires ownership, decision-making ability, and confidence managing both people and logistics.

You will be responsible for directing Event Staff, coordinating vendors, maintaining timelines, and ensuring each experience reflects DUO’s standards.

This position is designed for team members who have demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and strong performance over time.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee full on‑site execution from setup to teardown
  • Lead and direct Event Staff during events
  • Serve as primary contact for property teams and vendors on‑site
  • Manage timeline, run of show, and overall event flow
  • Ensure décor, food and beverage, signage, and activities are set to brand standard
  • Troubleshoot issues in real time with professionalism and confidence
  • Track attendance and capture notes or photos as needed
  • Transport light event materials when required
  • Represent the DUO Events brand through leadership, hospitality, and accountability
REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong leadership presence and decision‑making ability
  • Experience in events, hospitality, or team management preferred
  • Comfortable managing vendors and directing team members
  • Able to lift 20 to 40 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods
  • Evening and weekend availability
