Job description

Duvall Catering & Events is seeking an experienced, organized, and service-driven Event Lead to oversee the successful execution of catered events. This role serves as the on-site leader, ensuring every event reflects our commitment to exceptional hospitality, flawless execution, and outstanding client service.

The Event Lead works closely with our sales, culinary, operations, and event staff to bring each client's vision to life while maintaining Duvall's high standards of quality and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
Pre-Event Planning
  • Review event details with the sales and operations teams.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and culinary teams to review menus, equipment needs, and service logistics.
  • Ensure all event materials are complete and organized before departure.
  • Lead event setup, execution, and breakdown.
  • Supervise servers, bartenders, and event staff throughout the event.
  • Assign responsibilities and provide direction to ensure efficient service.
  • Communicate client requests and guest needs to the team in real time.
  • Maintain a professional, polished atmosphere while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Post-Event Responsibilities
  • Oversee event breakdown and proper loading of equipment.
  • Ensure food, beverages, and rental items are returned and stored correctly.
  • Confirm event vehicles are cleaned and free of trash before returning.
  • Complete event paperwork and communicate any notes or follow-up items to the operations team.
Qualifications
