Job summary

Craft Culinary Concepts is seeking a Dishwasher to ensure sanitation of the general kitchen area, including equipment, wares, glasses and utensils, especially after events. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and the ability to work non-traditional hours including nights, weekends and holidays; a County Food Handler Card is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Must have a valid County Food Handler Card on file with Craft Culinary Concepts for each event.
• Must be able to understand and follow specific instructions for assigned function.
• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent unless currently enrolled; will consider prior experience in food industry.
• Must complete all pre-employment forms and pass a background check.
• Must be able to work with a group as well as independently.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced high-stress environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans, silverware and other kitchen tools using a commercial dishwasher or by hand after events.
• Inform supervisors of product levels for normal use in the kitchen.
• Maintain an organized immediate work area and assist with cleaning and organization throughout the kitchen during and after events.
• Stow clean dishes in the proper area and assist with basic food preparation as needed.
