Job summary

Legends Alamodome cooks assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to ensure top-quality food, accurate presentation, and timely service during events. You will help prepare day-to-day kitchen operations, read recipes, and maintain sanitary conditions.

The role requires standing for long periods, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strict adherence to safety and dress codes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Culinary certification or degree preferred, but not required.
• Food Handlers Permit required per Health Department.
• SERV Safe certification preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef and Sous Chef by maintaining high food quality and presentation.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking and review recipes for meals.
• Maintain a sanitary kitchen and proper food storage.
• Read and execute recipes; measure ingredients precisely.
• Adhere to safety regulations and dress code for the kitchen.
• Support day-to-day kitchen operations during events.
