Job summary

814 Lanes & Games - Bites & Brews is seeking an energetic Event Host to greet families, guide children through activities, and ensure a memorable party experience. You will serve food and beverages, help with scheduled activities, and keep the event area tidy and welcoming.

Ideal candidates are friendly and reliable, able to work weekends, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, loud environment. Experience in customer service is a plus, and there are opportunities to advance with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer event-related questions.
• Set up, clean, and maintain the room for events.
• Serve food, beverages and cake to guests.
• Maintain food levels on buffets and drink stations.
• Help deliver a great experience for event clients and notify management if help is needed.
• Keep the event area clean and organized during the event.
• Reset event rooms to the default setup after events.
• Assist as needed in other areas as directed by lead or manager.
• Maintain a professional uniform and appearance.

SUMMARY

At 814 Lanes and Games’ our Event Hosts provide friendly, enthusiastic service for our party customers. A Party Host sets the tone for a memorable experience by leading fun activities for the children while the parents sit back and enjoy the party. You will greet families, serve food and beverages, and guide children through scheduled activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Greeting and communicating with guests and answering event related questions.

2. Responsible for setting up, cleaning, and maintaining the room setup for events.

3. Serve food, beverages, and/or cake to event guests.

4. Maintain appropriate food levels on group buffets, platters, drink stations, etc.

5. Assisting with delivering the best possible experience for event clients and notifying Management immediately if assistance is needed.

6. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the event area throughout the event.

7. Resetting all event rooms and areas to the default setting when done.

8. Assist as needed in other areas as requested by a lead or manager.

9. Maintain uniform standards and a professional appearance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

1. Party Hosts are team players who are enthusiastic, friendly, organized, reliable, patient, and are willing to go the extra mile for our customers.

2. Previous customer service experience is preferred but not required.

3. Must be able to communicate clearly.

4. Must be able to work weekends.

Education/Requirements

1. Must be at least 18 years old.

2. Experience Preferred.
