Job summary

Main Event is seeking a Party Host to energize birthday celebrations and manage the party timeline. You will welcome guests, guide scheduled activities, and ensure a fun, safe experience for all attendees.

You’ll interact with party guests, monitor the event flow, and assist the party parent/organizer to fulfill needs. Maintain cleanliness and safety, while delivering outstanding customer service and memorable moments.

Qualifications

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required.
• Guest-focused mindset is essential for delivering memorable experiences.
• Teamwork is a must to coordinate events smoothly.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task during events.
• Effective communication with management, team members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with arriving party guests and serve as their Host throughout scheduled activities.
• Create memorable experiences by interacting with guests during the event.
• Monitor events, anticipate party needs and assist the party parent/planner.
• Gather and store birthday gifts and cake as applicable.
• Process payment transactions and greet guests returning.
• Set up, break down, and clean before and after each party event.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

At Main Event, our Party Hosts are the life of the party and create unforgettable birthday memories! As a Party Host, you are enthusiastic and relentless in creating FUN birthday celebrations, all while having a little fun yourself! You know the details of the event inside and out and can manage the scheduled birthday activities, so our birthday parents don’t have to! You’re also dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING DAILY?

• Welcome and engage with arriving birthday parties and serving as their Host throughout their scheduled activities (let’s get this party started!)
• Creating memorable experiences by interacting and engaging with the party Guests throughout the birthday event
• Ensuring memorable birthday experiences by monitoring events, anticipating party needs, and aiding the party parent/party planner
• Gathering and storing birthday gifts and cake (if applicable)
• Processing payment transactions and welcoming our Guests back
• Setting up, breaking down, and cleaning before and after each party event
• Upholding our cleanliness and safety standards (We take this seriously!)

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Prior food and beverage or Party Host experience is a plus but not required
• Guest-focused mindset (We heart our Guests!)
• Teamwork is a must (Teamwork makes the dream work!)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• Can effectively communicate with Management, Team Members, and Guests
• Availability to workdays, nights and/or weekends
