Job summary

Legends Global in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a part-time kitchen/dishwashing assistant to help maintain cleanliness and support food and beverage operations during events.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions from chefs, and contribute to a sanitary, safe, and efficient service team. Previous kitchen experience preferred; high school diploma or GED required; applicants motivated to work irregular hours will thrive.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Experience in commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Stage plates and setup breakdown area before and after events.
• Assist FOH prior to events as needed.
• Scrapes food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or conveyors.
• Wash pots, pans, trays, worktables, walls, ranges and refrigerators.
• Maintain clean dry floors and walls; sweep and mop.
• Segregate and remove trash to designated containers.
• Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
• Transfer supplies between storage and work areas.
• Keep china, glass, and silver in place; stock banquet storage areas.
• Assist in plating up for events.
• Maintain sanitary and safe work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
