Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Operations Coordinator for the Greater Columbus Convention Center to assist with day-to-day building operations and event support.

You will supervise setup, teardown, and cleanup for meetings and events, manage inventory, and assist with hiring and disciplinary actions as needed. Strong guest interaction and teamwork are essential to deliver seamless operations.

Qualifications

• One to two years of custodial/janitorial/meeting set experience in hotels, hospitals, offices, or event requisition conversion relative to a commercial facility.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and understand facility layout.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises set-up/tear-down of meeting rooms.
• Supervises set-up of risers, chairs and stage for events.
• Supervises clean up of convention or trade show floor.
• Supervises booth and floor clean up during events.
• Maintains stock and equipment inventory.
• Ensures equipment upkeep and repair.
• Performs basic operational duties as a working supervisor.
• Assists with hiring steps including interviewing and new hire support.
• Supports the Manager of Operations with facility management and scheduling.
