Job summary

SurgeU is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to serve as the primary contact for Life Surge attendees. This in-person role focuses on outbound calls to ticket purchasers, building relationships, and communicating event value to motivate attendance.

You will respond to inquiries by phone, text, and email, provide encouragement and prayer, share logistics, and document interactions to support high attendee engagement and show rates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with Microsoft Office or other computer systems.
• Customer service or event support experience preferred.
• Comfortable sitting at a desk for extended periods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong phone presence.
• Self-motivated and able to multitask.
• Willing to work evenings and weekends when events occur.

Responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and provide support via phone, text, and email.
• Build relationships with attendees and convey event value.
• Explain event details and updates; answer questions.
• Document communications in company systems.
• Outbound calls to Life Surge ticket purchasers before events.
• Provide motivation, encouragement, and prayer when appropriate.
• Communicate important event-specific information and updates to attendees.
• Follow up with attendees leading up to events.
• Collaborate with leadership and other departments to share timely information.
