Job summary

The Classic Center in Athens, GA is seeking an Event Attendant to support event planning and execution under the Director of Events Services. You will manage logistics for assigned events and serve as the primary client contact on site.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with college degree preferred. You should demonstrate supervisory abilities and excellent customer service, and you will participate in life safety compliance and on-site operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school education or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Additional years of experience may substitute college credits (2:1).
• Ability to demonstrate supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a productive work schedule as required by events.
• Follow detailed outlines prepared by Event Planners.
• Notify Director of Event Services of facilities or equipment in need of repair or replacement.
• Interact with Classic Center staff courteously and professionally.
• Serve as primary client contact during events.
• Proficient in life safety procedures.
• Work irregular schedules as needed to supervise events.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
