Fooda in Los Angeles is seeking a part-time Event Coordinator to support its lunch program onsite. You will be responsible for setup and teardown, guest interaction, and ensuring a high-quality experience with our network of local restaurants.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or events background, strong communication, and comfort with technology. Work the lunch window Tue–Thu (9am–2pm) with a flexible, customer-focused mindset and growth opportunities at Fooda.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist onsite with event set-up and teardown.
• Provide real-time customer service during events and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot on-site tech, POS, and TV displays when needed.
• Ensure high-quality setup and dining experience for guests.
• Support promotions and app coaching at events.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary.

Fooda is currentlyrecruiting for a part timeEvent Coordinator in our LA market.This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch Tuesday - Thursday(9am – 2 pm)

• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
