Fooda is hiring part-time events staff to support on-site operations across our office food programs in Fremont. You’ll set up and tear down event spaces, help with equipment and POS systems, and ensure high-quality customer experiences during lunch hours.

Ideal candidates communicate well, stay organized under pressure, and can navigate Fooda’s app and promotions. Flexible hours and potential advancement opportunities are offered, with free meals as part of the perks.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Comfortable working with technology and learning new tools.
• Reliable, organized and able to manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Set up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas to ensure high-quality service.
• Troubleshoot POS, onsite technology and TV menu boards as needed.
• Provide on-site customer service to resolve issues promptly with customers.
• Conduct on-site promotions and coaching for the Fooda app.
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary.
• Work hours typically 10am–2pm Monday–Friday; may extend 8am–4pm depending on market.

Who We Are:
Our story began in 2011 when a group of office workers at a major logistics company in Chicago had a lunch problem. Nearby options were limited,and the team was spending too much time and money traveling to their favorite restaurants. They had an idea: bring Chicago’s local restaurant culture inside the office to sell food. It was an immediate hit. When they discovered people from other companies sneaking into their office, they knew they were on to something.

Fooda pioneered the concept of rotating popup restaurants inside offices. Today, we operate in 60 cities with over 100 million meals served and continue to grow rapidly.

Powered by technology and a network of 3,500+ restaurants, we feed hungry people at work through a platform of unique food programs located within companies, office buildings, hospitals, schools, distribution centers, and more. What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
• Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
• Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
• Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
• Escalate issues to Operations Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
• Critical hours are over lunch we have positions availableMonday - Friday(10 am – 2 pm)but responsibilities may span 8am-4pm, depending on the market and need

• You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions
• You are a strong communicator and self-starter
• You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
• You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
• You’re looking for a steady part-time job (between 5 - 25 hours per week) during regular business hours and value flexibility
• Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
