Job summary

Fooda is seeking an Event Coordinator to deliver hospitality-driven food experiences at assigned locations in the South Irvine area on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The role is client-facing, fast-paced, and highly focused on service excellence.

Responsibilities include on-site setup and teardown, coordinating with restaurants, and ensuring timely food delivery while using Fooda’s technology. Prior catering or serving experience is preferred, and candidates should be comfortable driving between sites.

Qualifications

• Must live within 20-mile range of 92618 and be willing to drive to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site setup, teardown, and site safety for events.
• Receive restaurants on-site and deliver food to client offices.
• Operate Fooda technology and follow SOPs.
• Resolve issues in real time with clients.
• Conduct daily audits for service quality and partner compliance.
• Escalate issues to Client Success Team when needed.

Position Overview

The Event Coordinator is a high-visibility, client-facing role responsible for delivering a seamless, hospitality-driven food and beverage experience at an assigned location(s). This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a hospitality or events background who are eager to learn about food service, work with great customers, and support a broad network of excellent local restaurants.

Hours are Tuesday AND Thursday, 10:00am - 2:00pm with the opportunity for additional hours asdeterminedby client or team need.

This role will be dedicated to a client site in South Irvine on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This schedule may change based on the needs of the client.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure an exceptional customer experience each day.
• Receive restaurants on-site each day and deliver ordered food to client's satellite office down the road.
• Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures.
• Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders,late restaurant arrivals, incorrect email communication, or technology issues.
• Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer.
• Conduct daily audits to ensure high quality service and compliance from our restaurant partners.
• Escalate issues to theClient Success Teamwhen necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve.
