We are currently seeking a Community Ambassador and Event Coordinator to represent IntegriCare at community and facility events, distribute flyers, and build strong connections with stakeholders at venues like Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA). This role is perfect for an outgoing, organized, and passionate individual with a knack for connecting with people.

Position Overview

As a Community Ambassador and Event Coordinator, you will:

  • Represent IntegriCare at various community and healthcare events.
  • Engage with healthcare professionals, families, and community members to share IntegriCare’s mission and services.
  • Distribute flyers at facilities and hospitals like CHOA to increase awareness about our programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute impactful events.

This flexible role offers a mix of hourly, commission-based, and event-specific pay.

Key Responsibilities

Community Engagement:

  • Serve as a friendly and knowledgeable face of IntegriCare at events and facilities.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders, including families, healthcare professionals, and community partners.

Event Coordination:

  • Attend and assist with facility events, lunch-and-learns, and special programs such as the Special Olympics or seasonal celebrations.
  • Manage event logistics such as scheduling, materials, and setup.

Flyer Distribution:

  • Drop off flyers at community facilities and hospitals, including CHOA.
  • Ensure distribution is organized and tracked for reporting purposes.

Ambassador Role:

  • Clearly communicate IntegriCare’s services and values to diverse audiences.
  • Answer questions and guide interested families through the process of accessing care.

Administrative Duties:

  • Use the designated time tracking app to log hours and locations accurately.
  • Submit parking receipts for reimbursement.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in event coordination, public speaking, or community outreach.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of pediatric healthcare or experience working in pediatrics is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Medicaid waiver programs is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passionate about healthcare and community impact.
Compensation Details

Drive-Bys & Shadowing: $70 per location
Event Pay:

  • Events under 4 hours: $150
  • Events 5 hours or more: $300
  • Multi-day events: $500

Flyer Distribution at CHOA: $20/hour

Commission: $500 upon family submission of all required state documentation (2–3 weeks).

  • Time Tracking Required: Clock in/out via time app
