Job Description:
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Event Coordinator supports the sales department in executing the important behind-the-scenes administrative functions that keep the store functioning efficiently. This critical role enables our efforts to provide “unreasonable hospitality.” The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the sales department through administrative duties and confirmation calls to finalize event details. Additionally, the Event Coordinator participates in the sales process and handles a portion of booking our social market.

• You can analyze basic data to assist Operations and the Sales Team in decision-making

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Go above and beyond to meet the needs of each Special Events Guest, communicating all requests from hosts to ensure contracts are updated accordingly.
• Take RFPs and calls for social events, converting them into closed “won” business.
• Conduct site tours as needed.
• Ensure accurate and prompt distribution of paperwork for “pop-up parties,” working with the management team to ensure staffing support.
• Provide administrative support to the Sales Department, including follow-up on calls/emails/tasks with Event Hosts after a sale is “closed won,” and communicate any changes to BEOs or signed contracts to Operations.
• Follow up on ARs, collect payment information, and close remaining balances.
• Submit check requests and invoices as needed.
• Ensure Operations has the most up-to-date BEO for each event.
• Offer “upsell” opportunities to Event Hosts after a sale is “closed won.”

Salary Range:
$19.15 - $20.65
