Job summary

Peterson's Harley-Davidson of Miami is seeking an Event Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute the dealership\'s marketing, promotions, and community outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the development and execution of the dealership\'s overall marketing plan.
• Assist with social media content, digital marketing, email campaigns, website promotions, and other customer communications.
• Organize and promote dealership events, including open houses, motorcycle rides, community events, charity events, and other special promotions.
• Coordinate advertising and promotional materials, including digital advertisements, print materials, direct mail, signage, and other marketing collateral.
• Write, edit, and proofread promotional and informational materials.
• Maintain customer and marketing databases as needed.
• Work closely with dealership departments to identify upcoming promotions, inventory, events, and other marketing opportunities.
• Professionally promote the dealership\'s motorcycles, products, services, and events to existing and prospective customers.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, vendors, community partners, and other dealership contacts.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, creative, and organized Event Coordinator to join our team.

This position is responsible for helping plan, coordinate, and execute the dealership's marketing, advertising, promotional, and community outreach efforts. The ideal candidate is creative, energetic, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects while maintaining a strong focus on brand consistency and results.

MAJOR DUTIES:

• Assist with the development and execution of the dealership's overall marketing plan
• Assist with social media content, digital marketing, email campaigns, website promotions, and other customer communications
• Organize and promote dealership events, including open houses, motorcycle rides, community events, charity events, and other special promotions
• Coordinate advertising and promotional materials, including digital advertisements, print materials, direct mail, signage, and other marketing collateral

• Maintain customer and marketing databases as needed
• Work closely with dealership departments to identify upcoming promotions, inventory, events, and other marketing opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with marketing, advertising, social media, promotions, event coordination, or a related field preferred
• Experience creating marketing content and promotional materials preferred
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing and social media platforms preferred
• Motorcycle or powersports industry experience is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of Harley-Davidson motorcycles and dealership products is preferred, or the ability and willingness to quickly learn
• Must be dependable, professional, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Must be available for a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends for dealership events and promotions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods while working at a computer or workstation
• Frequently moves throughout the dealership and event areas to coordinate marketing activities, displays, signage, and promotional materials
• Must be able to operate a computer, phone, camera/mobile device, and other standard office and marketing equipment
• Occasionally ascends/descends stairs and works in indoor and outdoor dealership or event environments
• Must be able to occasionally move, position, or transport marketing materials, signage, displays, boxes, and event supplies weighing up to approximately 50 pounds
• Must be able to work dealership events that may require extended periods of standing and walking
