Job Description
Chats Cloud Cover is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our growing team in Chicago. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from conception through completion. The ideal candidate has experience in event logistics, vendor coordination, and client communication.
Responsibilities
Plan and manage events including conferences, corporate gatherings, workshops, and internal functions
Coordinate logistics such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and audiovisual setup
Maintain budgets and ensure events stay within financial limits
Manage timelines and event schedules
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure quality service delivery
Provide on-site event support and troubleshooting as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment with brand and messaging
Track event performance and provide post-event reports and evaluations
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, or related field
2+ years of experience in event coordination or a similar role
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and basic project management tools
Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings or weekends during events
Competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $57,000 per year
