Job summary

Tishman Speyer seeks an Event Coordinator to deliver memorable hospitality experiences at 125 High Street and One Federal Street in Boston. You will coordinate with ZO, property management, security, and external partners to elevate events and guest service.

Responsibilities include managing bookings, supporting regional events, and ensuring safety, cleanliness, and a seamless guest journey for prospective customers and VIPs.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of hospitality and/or event experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; able to handle multiple tasks.

This role will specifically focus on elevating the ZO program and events business at 125 High Street and One Federal Street in Boston and report to the Director of Special Events in Boston.Responsibilities and Duties:· Serve as the communication point between ZO, Property Management, security and third-party operations teams; ensure consistent hospitality and warmth· Seek to foster internal and external relationships that will assist in providing concierge-type services as needed· Execute events and activations to improve customer experience and engagement with ZO, working in conjunction with the ZO team to involve partners where appropriate, and coordinating with property management on event operations· Support the property management team in bookings and operations for conference facilities across 125 High Street and One Federal Street· Support the events team with execution of regional events and initiatives as needed· Ensure continuous improvement in quality of customer experiences by seeking and analyzing feedback on ZO programming and services; provide management with feedback summary and recommendations accordingly· Conduct daily property walkthroughs of ZO spaces and provide feedback to property team as needed to ensure design integrity, cleanliness, etc.· Assist the Property Management team with flawless execution of tours for new and prospective customers and VIP· Act as a representative of the ZO spaces, services and provide assistance when needed· Report and document any observed or known safety hazards, conditions or unsafe practices and procedures to management immediately· Perform administrative and project management duties as needed· Remain well versed on all aspects of the property, including all customers, services, and daily events*Onsite presence at both properties is required for this position.What we look for:· At least 1 year of previous hospitality and/or event experience preferred· Bachelor’s degree is required· Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills, be able to work well under pressure with a variety of people, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, understand and work well with cash and basic accounting principles· Experience using Microsoft Office Suite or similar program· Must possess an aptitude for guest service and have a cheerful, positive attitude· Must be fluent in English. Fluency in at least one foreign language is a plusThe base compensation range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, as well as access to our comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k) plan (with matching contributions), wellness benefits and all other benefits afforded to full-time Tishman Speyer employees.This base range reflects a number of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skill sets, and/or licensure required of an individual in this particular role.
