Job summary

Heritage at Sportsman's Park in Glendale, AZ is seeking a part-time Cook I to prepare premium foods for events, ensuring quality taste and presentation according to menus and BEOs while prioritizing guest experience.

You will support Cook II/III and prep cooks, follow health and sanitation protocols, maintain proper temperatures and labeling, and assist with stocking, opening/closing duties, and event-driven shifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in premium food preparation in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler's Card or equivalent.
• Ability to follow written and oral directions, prep lists, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Observe and follow all health and sanitation procedures.
• Prepare and serve food at correct temperatures and with proper portions.
• Label and date all products and ensure proper rotation.
• Keep kitchen clean, sanitized, and organized; manage supplies and inventory.
• Coordinate menus/BEOs to ensure timely cooking and accuracy.
• Open/close procedures and assist in other stations as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced event-driven environment with reliability.
