Job summary

Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group is seeking a Post Event Manager for Northwestern University’s Ryan Fieldhouse in Evanston, IL. The role oversees cleaning/janitorial duties and staff, reporting to the Site Manager.

You will manage shift operations, ensure safety, and coordinate with clients and management to maintain high service standards. The position requires on-site work in a sports/venue environment, with responsibilities including staff deployment, training, inspections, and

Qualifications

• Experience supervising cleaning staff or janitorial teams.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation to site.
• Willingness to work on-site in a venue environment.

Responsibilities

• Organize, plan, schedule and execute cleaning operations for the Post Event Shift.
• Decide how staff should be deployed and ensure equipment is set up prior to staff report time.
• Ensure all supplies, equipment and labor are available to complete tasks.
• Check-in staff, complete deployment sheets and assign staff for proper coverage.
• Assign radios, keys and equipment and complete sign in/out sheets.
• Provide employee training and communicate company/client policies and procedures.
• Conduct walk-through inspections to ensure work is completed properly and within hours.
• Assist with additional work as needed and decide when to release staff.
• Inspect facility and complete post-event checklist for proper cleaning.
• Respond to client service requests and complete labor reports.
• Complete post-event tracking form to ensure budget adherence.
• Ensure supplies and equipment are stored properly and maintained.
• Report accidents, injuries, incidents, safety and maintenance concerns immediately.
• Stay on site until relieved by Night Event Manager or Project Manager.
