Job summary

Northwestern University, Ryan Field in Evanston, IL is seeking an experienced Site Operations Manager to oversee cleaning, janitorial staff, and event and post-event operations. This role reports to the District Manager and requires coordinating with arena management.

You will supervise managers and staff, manage budgets and cost records, establish SOPs, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain equipment inventories.

Qualifications

• Oversee housekeeping personnel including managers, supervisors, leads and staff.
• Budget management and cost controls.
• Willingness to work extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates all cleaning operations including daily housekeeping, event cleaning and post-event cleaning.
• Trains, plans, schedules and assigns full- and part-time employees.
• Liaison between Pritchard Sports & Entertainment Group and Arena Management to oversee cleaning operations including third-party vendors.
• Maintains an effective, cost-efficient operation by preparing and maintaining the budget.
• Establishes and monitors financial procedures, accounts and control records.
• Develops and implements SOPs and preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensures high quality service by supervising managers and meeting goals.
• Maintains logs, reports and inventory; coordinates cost estimates and event settlements.
• Ensures OSHA compliance and runs training and safety programs.
• Represents the company in internal and external meetings.
