Puff 'n Stuff Catering is seeking an on-site Event Chef to lead food preparation for catered events, both plated and buffet, with an emphasis on quality and presentation.

The role requires knife skills, batch cooking expertise, strong communication, and reliability. You will work closely with the Lead Chef and service team, handling setup, service, and breakdown in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable knife skills.
• Experience with batch, quantity cooking, proper heating, holding, and plating techniques.
• Able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Approved food handling certification required.
• Speak English fluently with excellent written and verbal skills.
• Must work well in teams.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food on-site for catered events, plated and buffet.
• Plate meals according to Lead Chef instructions.
• Practice safe food handling procedures at all times.
• Show up on-time, in uniform with a positive attitude.
• Participate in event set up and break down with the service team.
• Be prepared to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
