Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper for the Sioux City Convention Center to maintain safety and cleanliness, ensuring a positive guest experience. The role may support general facilities tasks as needed and requires flexibility for events.

The position pays $15.00–$16.00 per hour for part-time work, with benefits including a 401(k) Savings Plan and 401(k) matching. This role remains open until December 4, 2026.

Qualifications

• Must be able to function in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience in a public facility is highly preferred.
• Must communicate clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely cleaning checklists.
• Before, during and after event cleaning including trash removal and vacuuming.
• Safely use cleaning supplies and equipment (chemicals, mops, brooms, buffers, scrubbers, vacuums).
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.
• Support Operations Setup Laborer duties as needed.
