Job summary

Meriwether Godsey is seeking Temporary/On-Call Catering Servers to deliver guests an exceptional dining experience at George School in Newtown, PA. You will set up banquet spaces, greet guests, serve beverages and meals, and maintain a clean, safe dining area during events. Strong guest service and physical stamina are required for high-volume settings.

The role offers a fast-paced, team-focused environment with uniforms and staff meals provided. FBI background check is required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• FBI background check required.
• Food Service/Serving experience (1–2 years preferred).
• Excellent communication and good organizational skills.
• Flexibility; ability to switch locations and duties.
• Ability to stand/move for long periods and lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to handle high-volume customers.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Set up tables, linens, chairs, and serving stations for full-service banquet events.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area to facilitate workflows and safety.
• Greet guests and respond to requests courteously.
• Serve beverages and foods in order; clear dishes and replenish beverages.
• Collect used dishes and return to the dishwashing area.
• Perform cleaning tasks and breakdown of service.
• Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness.
• Reset the banquet as directed by management for subsequent functions.
