Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group in New Orleans is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Banquet Captain to join our team. The role emphasizes leadership, guest satisfaction, and coordinating banquet operations in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The position requires at least a High School diploma and hotel customer service experience. Certifications in food safety and alcohol awareness are preferred. Part-time hours with competitive benefits accompany this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director for the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers and as the hotel’s personal representative to banquet guests.
• Provide ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to banquet staff.
• Coordinate all aspects of room/facilities setup, including audio/visual and F&B to ensure guest satisfaction, standards achievement and profit maximization.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel customer service role
• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred
