Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Banquet Captain to lead banquet service teams and ensure exceptional guest experiences in our Florida properties. The role emphasizes leadership, flawless service, and coordination of all banquet-related activities under the guidance of the Banquet Manager and F&B leadership.

The ideal candidate will have at least a year in hotel customer service, a strong guest-focused attitude, and solid time-management skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of one year in hotel customer service role.
• Food safety certification preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise banquet staff and act as hotel liaison to guests.
• Coordinate room setup, A/V and F&B to ensure guest satisfaction and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Directly responsible to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers and personal representative of the hotel to banquet guests.Provides ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to banquet staff.
• Expected to coordinate all aspect of the room/facilities set-up, including audio/visual and F&B so that all efforts are directed toward guest satisfaction, the achievement/maintenance of division standards and profit maximization.
• Perform various other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of one (1) year in hotel customer service role
• Food safety certification preferred
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred
