Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Catering Services Worker in Jersey City to support event operations, handle set up, transport, service and post-event cleanup. You will ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service and adherence to safety policies.

The role requires ability to work event-based hours, previous catering or customer service experience, and training in food handling and alcohol service. A strong work ethic and the ability to operate independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Previous catering experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow the required dress code.
• Must be available to work event-based hours.
• Must complete Food Handling and Alcohol Service training as required.

Responsibilities

• Set up catering and event service according to client requests and banquet event order.
• Transport and deliver catering food and supplies.
• Set up chairs, tables, buffet lines and other event equipment.
• Replenish food and beverage during events.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of service areas.
• Pickup and clean up deliveries after service.
• Break down and store equipment after events.
• Provide excellent customer service to guests.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
