Job summary

Proof of the Pudding is seeking Premium Bartenders to provide strong customer service in premium hospitality areas for events in Austin, TX.

This seasonal/part-time position requires bartending experience, TIPs/TEAM certification, and knowledge of upscale/VIP service. You will set up and break down bars, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with all policies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years of bartending experience.
• TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training).
• Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/breakdown responsibilities.
• Sets bar up in a timely manner, including icing down product.
• Communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
• Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
• Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
• Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
• Record closing inventory.
• Responsible for putting away all inventory as directed.
• Follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Proof of the Pudding, operator of the Austin Rodeo premium and concessions, is looking for Premium Bartenders to provide strong customer service to all premium hospitality areas.
