Job summary

The Commodore - A Bartolotta Restaurant seeks an energetic Banquet Bartender to craft wine, beer, and cocktails for events. You will maintain stock, serve guests, and handle payments while ensuring responsible service in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have mixology training, at least one year of experience, and a hospitality heart. Evening shifts with strong team support, dining discounts, and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of drink preparation and service.
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and presentation skills with focus on service customers.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment.
• Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons.
• Must be 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
• At least one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily setup and breakdown of beverage products for catered events.
• Receive drink orders from guests.
• Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, beer, wine, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Take and process payments as necessary.
• Ensure garnishes and ingredients are prepared ahead of bar opening.
• Maintain clean and organized bar spaces.
• Display bar products attractively; check IDs for legal drinking age.
• Refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons when needed.
• Communicate with guests and managers for last minute requests.
