Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a part-time Banquet Barback to assist bartenders at the Anchorage Convention Centers during events. You will help with ice, glassware, and stock while supporting bar operations and sanitation compliance.

The role requires TIPS/TAMS and Food Handler certification, basic math for inventory, and clear English communication. Expect weekends or holidays and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced venue.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and certified (TIPS/TAMS and Food Handler).
• Ability to count inventory with basic math.
• Clear English communication, both written and spoken.
• Ability to communicate via radio and work with team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains inventory and stock of all supplies at bar locations.
• Maintains rules and regulations of Health and Sanitation Laws, as well as safe transfer/storage procedures.
• Responsible for keeping all product storage areas locked and secured during events.
• Reports to work in appropriate uniform, for assigned location and event Function Order (Banquet Event Order).
• Maintains organized and clean storeroom.
• Enters transfers onto inventory sheets.
• Stands in for bartenders during breaks.
• Assists in running dirty glassware to kitchen.
• Other duties as assigned by Food and Beverage Management.
