Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Banquet Server to provide high-level catering service at the Anchorage Convention Centers. This hands-on role supports events with setup, service, and breakdown, ensuring guest satisfaction.

The position requires a part-time, non-exempt status with flexibility for weekends and holidays, and a current TAPS card or willingness to obtain one. Union wages with benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months’ work experience in a service-oriented environment.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a TAPS card with the Anchorage Municipality.
• Knowledge of catering services and terminology.
• Strong guest service skills.
• Ability to get along well with others and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Reports for work in proper uniform according to the scheduled time.
• Assists with collecting banquet equipment and setting up event rooms.
• Assists with preparing garnishes, beverages, condiments, and breads.
• Attends pre-function briefing and provides friendly customer service.
• Breaks down tables and banquet equipment after events and cleans up.
