Job summary

Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a banquet staff supervisor to oversee event service operations in the Cumberland area. You will manage banquet staff performance, delegate duties, and ensure smooth setup, execution, and teardown of events with attention to scheduling, linen control and payment postings.

You will be responsible for staff accountability and continuous improvement of procedures, services, products and revenue, including handling setup and A/V technologies and other duties as

Qualifications

• Work experience directly related to banquet service.
• Prefer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Minimum of 2 years experience with a NAF Catering Program.
• Maintain a PA State RAMP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management and performance of event banquet staff.
• Delegate duties to staff, coordinate setup and completion of events.
• Assist with scheduling, labor control, linen control, and payment postings.
• Ensure staff accountability for actions on and off the event floor.
• Recommend improvements to procedures, services, products and revenue.
• Handle event setup and audio-visual technologies; perform other duties as assigned.
