Boyd Gaming Corporation in the United States seeks a Banquet Supervisor to oversee functions, train servers and bartenders, and schedule staff for events. You will work with managers to organize and monitor banquet events, ensuring exceptional client service and adherence to policies.

Responsibilities include coordinating setup, menus, and details with clients, supervising staff, and maintaining inventories.

Formación

• Six (6) months of experience in the same or similar position preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for duration of shift.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise banquet functions including training servers, attendants, and bartenders.
• Schedule staff for banquet functions.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures to ensure exceptional client service.
• Work with Banquet/Catering Managers to manage, organize, and monitor banquet events.
• Sell, organize, and monitor all banquet functions.
• Coordinate setup requirements and execution.
• Coordinate menu and other details with client to ensure satisfaction.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate banquet service staff.
• Coordinate setup with convention porter staff.
• Requisition and maintain inventories of china, glassware, equipment, and uniforms.
• Communicate and coordinate details and special requests with clients.
