Sodexo is seeking a Banquet Server at the Desert Willow Conference Center. This part-time role involves serving guests at catered events, with responsibilities spanning setup, service, and breakdown across varied event sizes and service styles.

Ideal candidates have banquet, catering, or hospitality experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and relevant certifications (TIPS and food handler). The position emphasizes customer-focused service and professional conduct during events.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous banquet, catering, food service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol based on local regulations.
• Must maintain a valid TIPS certification or equivalent and comply with all state-specific alcohol training requirements.
• A food handler certification may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services to guests attending catered events, including meetings, receptions, luncheons, dinners, and special functions.
• Support a variety of service styles from casual buffets to formal plated meals and passed service.
• Deliver attentive, professional, and timely service during events.
• Assist with event setup, service execution, and breakdown under supervision.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and work areas during events.
