Sodexo at MOTE Aquarium in Sarasota, FL is hiring a Part-time Banquet Server to deliver food and beverage services at catered events, meetings, luncheons, dinners, and special functions. You will adapt to service styles from casual buffets to formal plated meals, ensuring a positive guest experience.

The role supports setup, service execution, and post-event breakdown under supervision. Candidates should have high school diploma or equivalent, hospitality experience preferred, and valid alcohol

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or equivalent experience.
• Previous banquet, catering, hospitality experience preferred.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Food handler certification may be required based on state/local regulations.
• TIPS or equivalent alcohol-service certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage services for catered events.
• Support service styles from buffets to plated meals.
• Set up, perform service, and breakdown during events.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and service areas.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds when needed.
