Job summary

Sheraton McKinney is seeking Banquet servers to support events and daily banquet operations. You will set up functions per BEO, serve guests with attention to safety and brand standards, and assist with break-down and clean-up while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities include ensuring proper glassware, linen, and silverware presentation, handling checks and payments, and communicating any incidents to management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma plus one year of related experience preferred.
• Alcohol awareness certification and familiarity with hospitality practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up function according to Banquet Event Order (BEO) including draping tables and setting silverware.
• Set professional, clean buffets and greet/serve guests.
• Follow policies for checks/payments and proper guest service etiquette.
• Report incidents to management and maintain safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform side work and assist in all service areas as needed.
• Attend pre-function meetings and stay informed on menu details and ingredients.
