Job summary

Sheraton McKinney is seeking friendly Banquet Servers to set up, serve and break down events in accordance with safety and brand standards. You will greet guests, attend to banquet functions, handle payments where required, and report incidents to management. This role requires a high school education and at least one year of related experience; alcohol awareness certification is preferred.

This is a full-time on-site position with benefits including health, dental, 401(k), and hotel discounts.

Qualifications

• High school education plus one or more years of related experience.
• Alcohol awareness certification and familiarity with hospitality industry practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up function according to BEO, including draping tables and setting silverware.
• Greet and serve guests following policies and procedures.
• Assist in all aspects of service and break down buffets.
• Complete assigned side work and related cleaning duties.
• Attend pre-function meetings and know menu details for functions served.
