Job summary

Harvest Events in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Events Assistant to engage communities through face-to-face marketing and donor sign-ups at our nonprofit partnerships.

You will participate in hands-on event setup, training, and sales conversations, with uncapped commissions and a clear path to leadership as you help grow our impact and fundraising results.

This role requires high energy, reliability, and strong communication in a busy team setting, with in-person work at local events.

Responsibilities

• Participate in daily one-on-one and team training sessions to review goals, performance metrics, and upcoming events.
• Set up event kiosks, signage, and displays in high-traffic areas to maximize engagement.
• Approach and engage community members in a friendly, authentic manner to share stories about our nonprofit partners.
• Inspire contributions and encourage participation in fundraising activities (a portion of your role includes sales/converting interest into donations).
• Collaborate with team members to optimize donor engagement and fundraising results.
• Take initiative to suggest improvements in messaging, engagement strategies, or event setup.
• Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment during events and team meetings.
