Job summary

Harvest Events in Charlotte, NC is hiring an Events Assistant to connect with the community, support on-site fundraising, and drive donor sign-ups through face-to-face outreach. This role offers hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and nonprofit outreach.

You will participate in daily training, set up kiosks and displays, engage diverse audiences with authentic storytelling, and contribute to a high-energy team focused on impact and growth.

As an Events Assistant, you’ll connect with the community, support events hands-on, and use face-to-face marketing to drive donor sign-ups, giving you real experience in sales, fundraising, and making an impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in daily one-on-one and team training sessions to review goals, performance metrics, and upcoming events.
• Set up event kiosks, signage, and displays in high-traffic areas to maximize engagement.
• Approach and engage community members in a friendly, authentic manner to share stories about our nonprofit partners.
• Inspire contributions and encourage participation in fundraising activities (a portion of your role includes sales/converting interest into donations).
• Collaborate with team members to optimize donor engagement and fundraising results.
• Take initiative to suggest improvements in messaging, engagement strategies, or event setup.
• Contribute to a positive, high-energy team environment during events and team meetings.
