Job summary

ASM Global in Huntington, WV seeks a part-time Usher/Ticket Taker to staff ticketed events and some non-ticketed events. This hourly, non-exempt role is event-based and runs at all ticketed events.

You will greet guests, check tickets, direct seating, scan tickets, and answer questions about the facility. You must spot hazards, report incidents to supervisors, and assist disabled guests to the proper entrances.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting guests at events is preferred.
• Ability to courteously check tickets and direct guests.
• Must report hazards or incidents to a supervisor immediately.
• Able to stand for extended periods and maintain focus.

Responsibilities

• Check tickets for valid date, time, and seat location.
• Greet guests and answer basic questions about the facility.
• Inspect areas for safety hazards before events.
• Direct disabled guests to accessible entrances.
• Respond to incidents and report to supervisor or EMS.
