Oglethorpe University Inc. seeks an on-site A/V technician to support university events, external events, and summer camps. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring flawless audio and video delivery and collaboration with events, IT, and theater teams.

The role requires problem-solving under pressure, strong customer service, and physical ability to lift equipment. Flexible hours with evenings and weekends will be needed to match event schedules.

Formación

• Experience providing A/V support for events, conferences, or performances.
• Familiarity with A/V software and control systems like Crestron or similar platforms.
• Basic understanding of live streaming platforms and hybrid event setups (Microsoft Teams).
• Prior experience in higher education or with large-scale event support.
• Willingness to lift and move heavy equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and configure AV equipment according to event requirements.
• Provide on-site technical support during events.
• Test equipment functionality and troubleshoot issues to minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate room setups and layouts based on event needs.
• Maintain, clean, and store AV equipment after events.
• Keep inventory and status reports of AV gear.
