Job summary

Bergen County Cooperative Library System is seeking a Clerk – Circulation for the busy Circulation and Technical Services Department. You will check items in and out, issue library cards, collect fines/fees, shelve materials, answer phones, assist patrons, and represent the Library in a friendly, professional manner.

The position offers a starting salary of $18.00 per hour with evening and weekend shifts, including about 17.5 hours per week across weekday evenings and a weekend day per month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Ability to use a computer and basic office equipment.
