Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Residential Support Specialist to monitor clients' status, assist with admissions and discharges, and support clinical staff. You will conduct urine drug screens, maintain a caring environment, and teach educational classes as scheduled.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, ICADA certification a plus, and the ability to communicate warmly with clients.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, ICADA certification a plus.
• Background check required and results reviewed.
• Experience: ability to communicate warmly and with empathy; flexible schedule including weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to TSA Harbor Light Center policies and procedures.
• Teach educational classes as assigned and maintain curricula.
• Document class attendance and progress in the electronic medical record system.
• Interact with clients with empathy and support, without counseling.
• Assist in admission/discharge, prepare rooms and provide linens.
• Support clinical staff and attend meetings as directed.
• Ensure client confidentiality per standards.
