Job summary

Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio seeks an Evening and Weekend Manager to extend staff presence for public facilities during evenings and weekends. The role coordinates with Facilities Operations, Campus Events, Hospitality Services, Campus Recreation and CTS to support event needs.

Responsibilities include supervising student employees, ensuring safety, managing space setups, and maintaining communication across departments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 6 months full time or 12 months part time experience in Student Union operations or a convention or banquet center.
• Demonstrated supervisory, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Must know how to use a computer for word processing, creating spreadsheets and work in a database.
• Must be able to perform all parts of the job.
• Physical exam required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration and facility management of service operations across campus to ensure a safe, professional and clean environment for building occupants.
• Manage operational activities and processes which supports events planned or scheduled at various locations across campus and supervise the use and security of facilities during evening and weekend hours.
• Provide direct customer service to event planners and coordinators.
• Follow established procedures for setting up for events and follow diagrams.
• Use EMS scheduling software to review and add inventories to space bookings.
